Nagpur: Amruta Fadnavis, wife of Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, took on Uddhav Thackeray and called him a “Crying man, always groaning and moaning.” The strong response came after the Shiv Sena chief, at group leaders’ meeting in Mumbai on Wednesday, had criticized that “this election will be the last election in Fadnavis’ life”.

Amruta Fadnavis was talking to reporters after a programme organized by Life Skill Foundation and Rakshanam Academy in Nagpur.

“Devendra Fadnavis comes again and again. Even if someone tries to pull him back, he comes back. This is the USP of his personality. Also he comes again for good, this is a good thing”, said Amrita Fadnavis. When asked about Uddhav Thackeray’s last election statement, she said “He (Uddhav Thackeray) mutters every day. What can I say about him? I can’t say anything about him.”

Meanwhile, the Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, mocked Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray. Fadnavis said, “You tried to make 2019 the end of my career. Shiv Sena, NCP and Congress together tried for two and a half years to finish me, but no one could finish me. Muddai lakh bura chahe to kya hota hai, wahi hota hai jo takdeer mein likha hota hai.” Shiv Sena party chief Uddhav Thackeray attacked the BJP and Eknath Shinde group in a gathering of Shiv Sena group leaders yesterday. Fadnavis responded to his criticism in his own signature style.

Fadnavis attacked Uddhav Thackeray and said, “I think his speech was a speech of despair. He said that it would be Devendra Fadnavis’ last election, but ‘Muddai Lakh Bura Chahe To Kya Hota Hai, Wahi Hota Hai Jo Takdeer Mein Likha Hota Hai. You tried to make 2019 my last. All the three tried to finish me, but no one could finish me.”
