Nagpur News: Ajni police have arrested two youths for molesting and threatening her with an acid attack.
According to police, the accused youths Amit Ramesh Chanore and Sumit Ramesh Chanore , both residents of Plot No. 18, Juna Gyaneshwar Nagar, Nagpur, and their accomplice Sagar conspired and stopped a girl near Mahalaxmi Book Depot, Manewada Ring Road. The girl was riding an Activa. One of the youths caught hold of the girl’s hand and asked to accompany them. However, when the girl refused to their diktat, the accused youths threatened the girl with throwing acid on her face and abused her ugly words.
The panicky girl immediately rushed to Ajni Police Station and lodged a complaint against the accused trio. The Ajni PSI Nagre booked the three youths under Sections 354, 294, 506,34 of IPC and arrested Amit Ramesh Chanore and Sumit Ramesh Chanore. The PSI Nagre is searching the third accused youth and probing the matter further.
