Two women rob man of gold coins worth Rs 1.24 lakh while travelling in auto

Nagpur: A middle-aged man was robbed of gold coins worth Rs 1.24 lakh by two women while travelling in a six-seater auto in Tehsil area on Friday night. The victim hailed from Uttar Pradesh and probably arrived in city by train.

The complainant, Rakeshkumar Deepchand Dinkar (53), native of Begpura, Aligarh (UP), boarded a six-seater auto at Ram Jhula Bridge near Railway Station around 7 pm on Friday. The two accused women also boarded the auto. Between Ram Jhula Bridge and Agrasen Square, the two women diverted attention of Rakeshkumar and slyly removed 34 gold coins worth Rs 1.24 lakh from his bag. After robbing Rakeshkumar the two women disembarked the auto midway and vanished. The theft came to notice when he found chain of the bag wide open.

Tehsil PSI P D Kulthe has registered a case under Sections 379, 34 of the IPC and searching the two women robbers.
