Two Sitabuldi traders booked for selling bogus electronics goods

Nagpur: Sitabuldi police have booked two traders under charges of selling bogus electronics goods in the name of branded company’s goods.

The two accused have been identified as Vijay Chandumal Chang (32), resident of Shanti Nagar Colony and owner of Sunny Electronics, located at Modi No. 3, opposite Bapat Bandhu shop, Sitabuldi, and Ajay Shitaldas Martijani (34), resident of Plot No. 100, Jaripatka, and owner of White House Shop. The two accused traders stored bogus goods such as mobile batteries, Flip Covers and Battery Covers deliberately despite knowing that the fake goods were not of Intex Mobile Company. The two accused traders intended to sell the stored duplicate electronics goods, worth Rs 4,59,700, in the name of brand Intex Mobile Company.

On the basis of a complaint filed by Mukesh Ramsingh Pande (32), resident of Equity Express View Apartment, Noida, Sitabuldi API Mane has booked the two accused traders Vijay Chandumal Chang and Ajay Shitaldas Martijani under Sections 420, 34 of IPC read with Sub-Sections 63, 64, 65 of Copy Rights Act and investigating the matter further.
