Two school-going kids kidnapped in Kalamna, Yashodhara Nagar

Nagpur: In the wake of city Crime Branch rescuing a 17-year old girl who was sold in Yavatmal for pushing her into flesh trade, two more school-going kids aged 16 and 15 have gone missing and reportedly been abducted.

In the first case, the complainant told Kalamna police that her 16-year old daughter left the home for going to school around 11 am on Wednesday. However, the girl did not return home even after school hours. A search at all possible places failed to locate the girl. Finally, the worried parents of the girl lodged a complaint at Kalamna Police Station.

PSI Raut, following directives of Supreme Court that any minor girl or boy goes missing then the case should be treated as that of kidnapping, has registered an offence under Section 363 of IPC and searching to trace the 16-year old girl.

Similarly, the 15-year old son of Usha Anandrao Selokar (39) named Badal went to school as usual at 11 am on Wednesday. Badal too did not return home even after lapse of considerable time. Panicked by Badal’s no return, Usha Selokar, resident of Vanjra Slums, near Glass Company, filed a complaint at Yashodhara Police Station.

Woman PSI Mandvale, in this case too, following directives of Supreme Court that any minor girl or boy goes missing then the case should be treated as that of kidnapping, has registered an offence under Section 363 of IPC and mounted a search to trace the boy.
