Two persons killed in road accidents in Nagpur

Two persons were killed and two others were injured in two separate road accidents in city.
According to police, in the first accident, a motorcyclist was killed and two pillion riders were injured. The complainant Nilesh Mulchand Patle (24), resident of Plot No. 101, Jam Nagar, Bharatwada Ring Road, Nagpur and his two friends Harshad Jaideo Kale (20), resident of Bharatwada, Nagpur and Sagar Vinod Kamble (22), resident of Bharat Nagar, Gujarati Colony, Nagpur were going triple seat on their Karizma motorcycle (MH-31/DD 789) from Ambazari Bypass Road to Futala. When the trio reached near the house of Shriram Sahu at about 0030 hours of Sunday (June 8), a rashly driven yellow coloured tipper truck rammed the motorcycle and speeded away. The impact caused serious injuries to Nilesh, Harshad and Sagar. However, Sagar Kamble, who was riding the motorcycle, succumbed to injuries and died on the spot. The injured were rushed to a hospital. On the basis of a complaint lodged with Ambazari Police Station, PSI Chaudhari has booked the tipper truck driver under Sections 237, 279, 304(A) of the IPC and is probing the matter further.
In the second incident, the victim Devkumar Ramkrishna Sapdhare (65), resident of Government Press Society, Dabha, Nagpur was returning home on his Scooty (MH-31/3680) at about 1730 hours of Friday (June 6). When Devkumar reached in front of Maruti Seva Showroom on Amravati Road, a reckless Super Slendour motorcyclist (MH-40/AG 7618) hit the Scooty of Devkumar and fled the spot. Devkumar crashed on the road as a result of impact injuring him critically. A profusely bleeding Devkumar was rushed to Sengupta Hospital but succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment at 1730 hours on Saturday. Wadi Senior PSI Gulhane has booked the motorcyclist under Sections 279, 304(A) of the IPC and investigating the matter further.
