Two more robbed at railway station

Nagpur News : Taking advantage of the rush at the compartment gates, thieves robbed a married woman and a man in different trains on Monday.

The first incident took place at Maharashtra Express when complainant Gurdeep Kaur Maan, 31, was getting down of the train and somebody from the crowd robbed her purse having gold chain, mobile phone and cash worth Rs 21,000. Maan was travelling from Gondia to Nagpur.

At 3.30 pm, Gandibagh resident Subhash Malhotra was robbed of cash Rs 1900 and credit cards from Andhra Pradesh express. Malhotra had gone to see-off his son when he was robbed of his wallet while helping his son to take the luggage in his compartment.

He immediately reported the railway police and within an hour, a suspected thief named Yusuf Baksh, a resident of Tajbagh was nabbed. Police has been interrogation him. Neither any cash nor credit cards was found from Baksh.
