Nagpur: Two minor girls went missing and reportedly were kidnapped from different areas of the city on Saturday. Cops have launched a search to trace the girls.
In the first incident, the Wadi-based complainant told police that his 17-year old daughter was lured and taken away by unidentified person(s) around 6.30 am on Saturday. The girl did not return home forcing her relatives to search her at all possible places but to no avail. Wadi PSI S S Kavanpure has registered a case against the unidentified person(s) under Section 363 of IPC and launched a search to trace the girl as well as the abductor.
In another incident, a 10-year old girl, who was playing near her house in Hudkeshwar, went missing around 6 pm on Saturday. The panicky parents searched her but when they could not find her lodged a complaint with Hudkeshwar police. PSI A G Ingole, following the Supreme Court orders that if a minor girl or boy goes missing then the case be registered as that of kidnapping, has registered a under Section 363 of the IPC and mounted a search to trace the 10-year old girl.
