Nagpur: Two girls, aged 15 and 14, went missing from different areas on Saturday and Sunday. Cops have launched search to trace them.
A resident of Ajni, a 15-year old girl left her home around 8 pm on Saturday without informing her relatives. Since then she has gone missing. A search by her parents and others proved futile.
Ajni PSI B R Jadhav, as per Supreme Court directives that if any minor boy or girl goes missing then the case should be treated as that of kidnapping, registered an offence under Section 363 of the IPC.
Similarly, a Pachpaoli resident, the 14-year old girl left her home around 3 pm on Sunday without informing other members of family. As she did not return, relatives searched her at all possible places but in vain.
Pachpaoli API S S Kedare, as per Supreme Court directives, registered a case under Section 363 of the IPC.
Ajni and Pachpaoli cops have launched search to trace both the missing girls.
