Two criminals who aided and abetted in the 5 criminals to escape arrested

breaknagpurNagpur: Probe by high-level police and prison officials finally yielded due results. On quizzing of the other inmates of the barrack number 6 by Crime Branch officials yielded results as they came to know that two criminal elements had prior knowledge of the plan to escape and had abetted the five dreaded criminals in escaping from the Nagpur Central Jail.

001According to police sources, a case of jail breaking has been registered in Dhantoli Police Station vide Criminal Case No 3032 /15 under sections 224 and 34 of Indian Penal Code against hard-core criminals Bisensingh Rammulal Uikey (35), a resident of Dhumal, Seoni (Madhya Pradesh); Mohammad Shoaib Salim Khan alias Shibbu (24), a resident of New Mankapur; Satyendra alias Rahul Rajbahadur Gupta (24), a resident of Kamptee; Prem alias Nepali Shalikram Khatri (21), a native of Nepal, and Aakash alias Golu Rajusingh Thakur (22), a resident of Kutubshah Nagar, Gittikhadan who had had escaped from the jail in the wee hours recently. The case was handed over to the crime branch for investigations. The Police personnel from the Crime Branch were following on the hunch that these criminals could escape only by getting some inside or outside help.

Extensive investigation for the last few days after the jail break has finally yielded results. The Crime Branch officials picked up two suspects identified as 1. Nawab Tohid Khan aged 22 years and a resident of Plot No 24, Near Don Bosco High School, Mankapur and 2. Ganesh Kamalkishore Sharma aged 30 years and a resident of Street No 5, Tajnagar, Mankapur on April 6, 2015. When the suspected accused were interrogated thoroughly, it came to fore that both the accused knew that these five criminals are planning to escape from the Central Prison and had aided and abetted them in escaping from the jail. Bothe the accused have been remanded to Dhantoli Police Station for further investigations.

Both the accused apprehended are also said to have prior police records and have offences like theft and mugging /looting registered against them.
