Two accused in Lahoree firing case granted bail

Nagpur: The Sessions Judge A V Dixit on Friday granted bail to two of the accused in sensational Lahoree Bar Shubham Manohar Fulzele and Raunak alias Rikki Thakur.

The case of the case of the prosecution was that, on 13-11-16, one Pavan Chaudhary was having liquor at the Lahoree Bar situated in Dharampeth. It is alleged that, on the adjacent table one Roshan and a girl were also having liquor and Pavan Chaudhary started eve teasing the girl. On the said count there was quarrel between Pavan Chaudhary and Roshan and therefore they were asked to leave the bar. It is further alleged that, thereafter Pawan Chaudhary made phone calls to his friends and one Shekhu Khan, Pappu Dagor and his friends alighted from Skoda, Scorpio and Alto cars. It is further alleged that, Pappu Dagor fired two bullet rounds in the air. On the basis of complaint lodged by Sameer Sharma an offence punishable u/s. 307 of IPC R/w 3/25, 4/25 of Arms Act vide crime no. 510/16 registered with the non- applicant police station against Pawan Chaudhary, Shekhu Khan, Pappu Dagor and his friends.

As a counter to the said FIR, Pawan Chaudhary also lodged counter complaint against Sameer Sharma, Rakesh Samrutwar, Shrikant Wanve, Abhishekh Singh and Shubham Jaiswal. It is submitted that, Pawan Chaudhary lodged the complaint that, in fact it was Sameer Sharma who had fired the bullet round at the first instance and thereafter in retaliation Pappu Dagor fired two bullet rounds. It is submitted that, on the basis of the complaint lodged by Pawan Chaudhary an offence punishable u/s. 307, 143, 147, 148 of IPC R/w 3/25 of Arms Act came to be registered with the non- applicant police station.
