Nagpur News: Two unidentified youths tricked a girl and fled away with Rs 7,000 cash from her from SBI Ravi Nagar branch o Monday.
Sources said, Shruti Rajendra Bomanwar (23), a resident of c/o Ramesh Agrawal, Plot No. 187, Ram Nagar, had gone to the State Bank of India, Ravi Nagar branch to deposit Rs 20,000 cash. One of the accused told her to arrange the notes in serial order while the other accused distracted her by asking her for a pen. The first accused slipped Rs 7,000 in his pocket and fled away from there.
Shruti immediately lodged a complaint with Ambazari police station after discovering about the theft. Police have registered an offence under Sections 379 and 34 of the IPC. Further investigations are under way.
