Nagpur: A devastating accident occurred on the Nagpur-Chandrapur Highway involving a special travel bus departing from Ballarpur in Chandrapur district and heading to Nagpur. The information has surfaced that the bus suffered a severe collision. Tragically, one person has lost their life in this horrific incident, and six individuals have sustained injuries. The injured have been promptly taken to nearby hospitals for medical treatment. The impact of the accident was so intense that a section of the bus was completely mangled.
For the past several days, the state has been experiencing a series of accidents due to the inclement weather conditions and deteriorated road surfaces caused by the ongoing monsoon rains. Potholes and hazardous road conditions have emerged as a result. The accident has further highlighted the absence of effective accident prevention measures.
