Tirpude Institute of Management Education holds ‘MindQuest 2015’ for students

Nagpur: Tirpude Institute of Management Education (TIME) is one of the leading Management Institutes in Central India that endeavours to encourage innovation in each sphere of student activities. A 2-day event ‘MindQuest’ 2015 was held on September 8 & 9 for students of various undergraduate colleges in Nagpur.  The event provided a platform for students, giving them opportunity to showcase their presentation skills, creativity, analytical skills and application of concepts and to compete.

MindQuest consisted of two basic aspects – paper presentation competition and innovative product launch competition. Under paper presentation, the participants were required to select one theme out of the three given choices on digital India, marketing and economy and then make a power point presentation to the audience. Under the innovative product launch, the participants were given certain raw material to create their innovative product and then prepare and present how they will launch the product in market and also overall business plan for the chosen product.

The event was promoted in various undergraduate colleges in Nagpur, generating a huge response of over 70 entries from various college teams. Elimination rounds were held on 8th September and finalists were selected based on the performance criteria announced in advance. The final rounds of both the events were held on 9th September and were judged by senior faculty members. All teams were able to impress the judges with their innovative thinking and performed very well. Cash prizes were awarded to the winning teams, which were from City Premier College, Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Management Studies & Research and Tirpude Institute of Management Education.

Prof. Prerna Thakwani and Prof. Prasanna Shembekar coordinated the event very well under guidance of Director, Dr. Lalit Khullar and Dean, Dr. Sanjay Kavishwar.
