Miscreant goes on rampage, damages company office over land deal

Nagpur: A miscreant on Thursday burst into the office of a company in Byramji Town and went on rampage. The rampaging goon damaged computer monitors, glass doors, tables and other material collectively valued at Rs 1 lakh. The fracas was outcome of a land deal.

According to police, the complainant Sandeep Indrajit Suri (42), resident of Flat No. 701, Kanha Residency, Rajnagar, runs the company named Shakuntala Mines and Minerals Pvt Ltd situated in Byramji Town. On Thursday, around 12.30 pm, the accused Nisar Iftekhar Ahmed (35), resident of Plot No. 115, Mankapur, forcibly entered the office of the company and started damaging office material. The accused damaged two computer monitors, glass doors, tables and other material worth Rs 1,00,00 and also threatened Sandeep Suri of dire consequences. The outrageous action on the part of accused Nisar Ahmed was outcome of a farm land deal.

Sadar PSI Warvade, acting on a complaint of Suri, registered offences against the accused Nisar Iftekhar Ahmed under Sections 448, 506, 427 of IPC and searching for him.
