Jaripatka police arrested three youths for abusing a middle-aged woman, her daughter and her family members on Wednesday.
The accused have been identified as Baljeet Singh Sukhdev Singh Bhendar (25), Harjeet Singh Charan Singh Patwani (23), and jagjeet Singh Amar Singh Saini (23), all residents of Buddhaji Nagar.
On Wednesday, the accused went in front of complainant’s brother’s house and started using abusive language against them. The victim intervened and asked the youths not to use foul language, but the accused abused her and pushed her. They also mistreated her daughter and kicked her. The accused attacked victim’s brother and uncle after which they fled away from the scene.
The victim informed Jaripatka police who later registered an offence under Section 354 (b), 323, 294, 506 and 34 of the IPC against the accused and arrested them.
