Three persons, including a woman, booked for duping man of Rs 11.21 lakh

Nagpur News : Lakadganj police booked three persons for selling land under NIT and NMC and duping a middle-aged man of Rs 11.21 lakh.

Police informed, the accused Sudhir Ramkrishna Jangam, Bhimrao Prabhakar Godghate, and Maya Bhimrao Godghate produced fake documents of a land, which actually came under NIT and NMC, and sold it to a middle-aged man Dnyaneshwar Vithobaji Gokhale.

According to information, the accused gave fake document of the land in front of Garoba Maidan, Plot No. 213 and told Dnyaneshwar that the land belonged to them. They cracked the deal with him and took Rs 11.21 lakh from him near Wardhaman Nagar Radhakrishna Mandir. However, the accused later avoided complainant’s calls which rung warning bells in his mind. He soon realised that he had been tricked by the trio.

On the complaint of Dnyaneshwar, Lakadganj police have registered an offence under Section 420, 468, 471 and 34 of the IPC against the accused.
