Three of a family, including 5 yr old girl, end life in Futala lake

Nagpur: Three members of a family ended their lives by jumping into Futala lake here, police sources informed on Saturday. The deceased included a man, his wife and 5 year old girl. The deceased have been identified as Nilesh Shinde, 35, Rupali Shinde, 32 and their 5 year old daughter Nahli Shinde.

The family used to reside in the premises of Telangkhedi Hanuman Mandir. It is believed the trio must have taken the extreme step in the intervening night of Friday and Saturday.

Ambazari police have fished out the bodies on Saturday morning and sent them for postmortem. The reason behind their suicide was yet to be known.
