Three minor girls abducted from different areas of city; cops mount search

Nagpur: Three minor girls have reportedly been kidnapped from different areas of city. Cops have mounted massive search to trace the girls.

A 16-year old girl went missing after she left her house without informing other family members. The girl left her MIDC-based house between 12 noon and 2 pm on April 11. Since then the girl is untraceable even after her parents searched all possible places. Finally, a missing complaint was filed by the girl’s relatives at MIDC police.

PSI Barad, following the Supreme Court directives that if any minor girl or boy goes missing then the case should be treated as that of kidnapping, registered an offence under Section 363 of the IPC and has launched massive search to trace the 16-year old girl.

Similarly, another 16-year old girl, resident of Jaripatka, left her house around 12 noon on April 14 without informing other members of family and since then has been missing. All attempts to find the girl proved futile and subsequently, a missing case was registered with Jaripatka police.

PSI Dongre, following the Supreme Court directives that if any minor girl or boy goes missing then the case should be treated as that of kidnapping, registered an offence under Section 363 of the IPC and is searching the missing girl.

In the third incident, the accused Monu Bamnote (20), resident of Gittikhadan, reportedly enticed a 16 year old girl of the same area and took her to an undisclosed destination between 11 am of April 11 and 2 pm of April 15.

Gittikhadan API Bhedodkar, based on a complaint of the girl’s relative and following the Supreme Court directives that if any minor girl or boy goes missing then the case should be treated as that of kidnapping, registered an offence under Section 363 of the IPC and is scanning for any lead to trace the 16-year old girl.
