Nagpur: Three people lost their lives following a major accident between a car and travels bus on Umred Road near Umber village on Monday evening.
Umred police rushed to the spot as the mishap led to tension in the area. The road remained blocked resulting in traffic jam.
The Impact of the collision was so intends that three persons, including the driver of the Indica ( MH 34 AA 1021 ) , were killed on the spot and three other were injured seriously. Driver of the bus ( CG 08 MO 990 ) ran away fearing public violence.
Police said all three occupants of the car died in the mishap. Sources said the deceased Shailesh Chitawar (48), Rajesh alias Raju Kuntamwar ( 50) and Radheshyam Agarwal ( 52) were the residents of Mul in district Chadarpur.
The car was leaving Nagpur while the bus was coming from Umred.
