Nagpur: In what could be termed as unfortunate three persons including a woman committed suicide in the city in the past 24 hours. The names of the deceased are 1. Asmita Sanjay Mandpe aged 32 years, 2. Abhijeet Ashok Maske aged 33 years, 3. Harish Namdeo Guldekar aged 46 years.
The first incident occurred in Shatabdi Square, Kashinagar Ring Road. Asmita Sanjay Mandpe the wife of Sanjay Mandpe committed suicide by hanging herself in the evening hours using the nylon rope which was used for a swing on the roof top. The cause of her taking the extreme step could not be ascertained as yet.
On receipt of information, Police Sub Inspector N B Gawande of Ajni Police Station reached the spot along with his squad.
After completing the formalities, the cops dispatched the body to GMCH for post-mortem. The Ajni Police has registered a case of accidental case and is investigating further.
The second incident occurred in Nandanvan area. Abhijeet Ashok Maske a resident of Vyanketesh Apartment, Khavase Building, Ramkrishna Nagar, Umred Road had committed suicide by hanging himself using a bedsheet at around 6: 30 pm in the evening of March 17, 2016.
On receipt of information, Police Sub Inspector S B Jadhav of Nandavan Police Station reached the spot along with his squad. After completing the formalities, the cops dispatched the body to GMCH for post-mortem. The Nandavan Police has registered a case of accidental case and is investigating further.
The third incident occurred in Gittikhadan area. Harish Namdeo Guldekar aged 46 years a resident of Borgaon, Gorewada had committed suicide by hanging himself using a shawl (Odni) from an iron pipe in his house late in the night of March 17, 2016.
On receipt of information, Police Sub Inspector R J Patil of Gittikhadan Police Station reached the spot along with his squad. After completing the formalities, the cops dispatched the body to IGGMC for post-mortem. The Gittikhadan Police has registered a case of accidental case and is investigating further.
The cause behind all the three deceased taking such extreme step could not be ascertained as yet.
