Nagpur News : In a dramatic and filmy way, a woman along with her brother and his friend tried to kill a woman of their society to avenge themselves on Sunday morning under the jurisdiction of Nandanvan police.

Accused has been identified as Sunita Agrawal (48), a resident of Shivshakti Apartment, Indira Devi town, Wathoda Road and her brother and his friend. On Sunday, a society meeting was called in Shivshakti Apartment in which the complainant Geeta Sharma participated with her husband Dharmavir Sharma. Geeta put forward her view on an issue relating to the accused Sunita Agrawal. Geeta alleged that Sunita took lift from her son on March 5. Thus, she warned Sunita not to take lift from her son. Sunita alleged that Geeta was spreading rumours about her affairs with Geeta’s son and this sabotaged Sunita’s image in the society. She also alleged that society members were talking about her behind her back and their behaviours had changed after the rumours. Thus, enraged over Geeta’s involvement in spreading rumours about Sunita, she called her brother and his friend to take revenge from Geeta. Sunita, her brother and his friend grabbed Geeta after the meeting was over. They tried to kill Geeta with the help of nylon rope. However, Geeta somehow managed to escape from their clutches and reported the incidence to Nandanvan police.

Cops booked all the three accused after registering a case under Sections 307 and 34 of the IPC. Further investigations are in progress.

Nagpur Today contacted the investigating officer PI Datta Dhole who informed that cops have booked the accused in the case but they will be arrested only after thorough investigation in the case.
