Yashodhara Nagar police have arrested a 52-year-old man for allegedly raping a 15-year-old girl on Sunday. The culprit has been identified as Dnyaneshwar Gulab Giri (52), a resident of Rani Durgawati Square.
According to information, Dnyaneshwar brought the girl to his house and raped her. He threatened her of dire consequences if she narrates the incidence to anyone. Nevertheless, the girl narrated the incidence to her parents who immediately lodged a complaint with Yashodhara Nagar police station. Cops swung into action and arrested the accused before he could make an escape.
