Nagpur News: Three days “Entrepreneurship Awareness Camp” EAC was held in P.I.E.T. on 17-18 April 2013. Mr. Uday Shankar Sigh,GM, Abhijeet Group, was the chief guest at the inaugural function, Mr.Dhanorkar, Mrs.Vandana Sharma,  Prof. M.G.Borikar, Director-LTJSS, Dr .C.G. Dethe, Principal, PIET, Dr. R.P.Ugwekar ED Cell Co-ordinato Mr. S. Kulkarni Senior Project Officer, MCED, Nagpur, were prominently present on the Dias.

Dr.R.P.Ugwekar, ED Cell Coordinator, explained the aim & objectives of the EAC-2013.  Mr. Uday Shankar sigh, put his views on various issues like how to become entrepreneur, qualities of successful entrepreneur and motivated the students to dream big and bring it in reality. Mr. Dhanorkar & Mrs V.Saharma has explained various facilities provided by Government to upcoming Entrepreneurs. Prof. M.G.Borikar has given some example of worldwide successful Indian entrepreneurs and urges the students to come forward as businessman.

Dr.C.G.Dethe, Principal, has guided the students to take benefit of such camp to build up bright future. Er. K. D. Bhuyar, Asstt. Professor, Dept.of Chemical Engg. & Coordinator of EDC-2013 proposed a vote of thanks. Heads of the various departments were present at the inaugural function. Second, Third & Final year B.Tech/B.E. Students from various branches such as Chemical, Electronics, Information Technology, Computer Technology, Computer Engineering has participated in this technical session.  Around 180 students have enrolled their name for this camp.

On Third day of EAC, Faculties and students had visited to MIHAN Multi Facility Building and observed the developmental features of MIHAN. In the auditorium,  Mr. Gampawar has explained his experience as entreprenuerer. Mr. Bamburde, District Industrial Centre, Nagpur had guided the students about different schemes, subsidies, rules & regulations and Govt. policies for new entrepreneurs and also guided and motivate to set up a new plants. 20 minutes power point presentation was shown on MIHAN. Mr. Deepak Joshi, PRO, MIHAN has explained the different aspects of MIHAN and how MIHAN will become a lifeline of Nagpur and Vidarbha region. As MIHAN is a combination of Cargo Hub & SEZ which gives boost for Export/ Import. The Infrastructure facilities in MIHAN are 100% ready. Various MNC’s have already setup their units and some on the verge of starting commercial production.

On the Second day, the workshop on creativity was conducted in which students have participated and come up with new ideas to promote Entrepreneurship. The camp concluded with a valedictory function in which students have given the very encouraging feedback about the Camp. Certificates were distributed to the participants. For this Camp Prof. K.D. Bhuyar , Dr. S.G. Suke, Prof. Ms. Shilpa Borkar, Prof. Uma Thakur, have taken great efforts to make the Camp successful. Mr. Rohan Makhija & Ms. Nivedita Shirpurkar have anchored the program. The Management of LTJSS has fully supported this event.
