Gondiya : The Gondiya District level Gathering of Nagpur Unniversity Shikshan Manch was held at Jagat College, Goregaon. In the day-long gatherings, Dr Kaplpane Pande, president, Nagpur Shikshan Manch, presided over the program. On the occasion, newly appointed Dean of Rastrsant Tukdoji Maharaj Nagpur University, Nagpur, Prof. Dr Sandeep Kawishwar, Prof. Dr Dattatry Watmode and Prof.Dr Maheshwari along with Dr Sopandeo Pise, NSS director were felicitated. Prof Dr Satish Chafle, general secretary, Nagpur Shikshan Manch, shed light on the ideological role of the organization.
He enumerated the active role Nagpur Shikshan Manch played in solving the pending problems of placements of professors and hiking the remuneration of professors working on a clock hour basis. He highlighted that with the relentless struggles and agitation of Shikshan Manch delay in the payment of college employees of social work and Engineering colleges has been resolved. Dr Kalpana Pande in her presidential speech outlined the aims and objectives of the organization and exhorted all the members to chip in the organization to make it grow leaps and bounds.
In the day-long gathering, the Gondia district committee constituted wherein as the president Dr Pandurang Dange and as the General Secretary Dr Nilesh Lanje, principal, Jagat College Goregaon, have been appointed respectively.
Dr Lokesh Katre conducted the program and Dr Prabhakar Dange propose the vote of thanks. The programs were attended by teaching and non-teaching staff on a large scale.
