Nagpur: In a shocking incident under the jurisdiction of the MIDC police station in Nagpur, a tenant has been accused of raping his landlord’s three-and-a-half-year-old daughter. The accused, who fled the scene immediately following the crime, was subsequently tracked down and arrested by the police in Gondia.

According to the police, the arrested individual has been identified as 35-year-old Sameer, alias Bhuvaneshwar Mordeve, a native of Gondia. The accused was employed at a company within the MIDC industrial area and had been residing as a tenant in the complainant’s house for approximately the past six months.

The Incident It is alleged that on the day of the incident, the toddler was playing in front of her house. The accused reportedly lured the child into a bathroom and committed the crime.

The assault came to light later that evening when the child complained of stomach pain to her mother. The family promptly took her to a local hospital, where a medical examination confirmed that she had been subjected to sexual assault.

Upon receiving the medical confirmation, the family immediately lodged a formal complaint at the MIDC police station. Although the accused had absconded after the incident, law enforcement launched a search operation and successfully apprehended him in his hometown of Gondia.

Further investigation into the matter is currently underway.
