Nagpur News : Tehsil police foiled a plan of dacoity and arrested two of a gang of thieves before they could succeed in their plan of robbery.
The accused have been identified as Akshay Dilip Bhaisare (21), a resident of Ram Bhoomi Society, Kalamna; Ashish Pramod Bagde (23), a resident of Kamptee; Sheikh Zakar Sheikh Muzaffar (25), a resident of Kamptee while two other thieves are yet to be identified.
According to information, this gang was planning a robbery near Water Tank, at Maskasath Railway Bridge on Tuesday evening. Tehsil patrolling police noticed the thieves and questioned them due to suspicion. Cops recovered two steel knives, chilli powder, a rope and Rs 497 cash from their possession. Cops registered an offence under Sections 399, 402 read with sub section 4+25, 135 of MPA and arrested Akshay and Sheikh Zakar.
