Teenage girl, scolded by mother, goes missing in Lakadganj

Nagpur: A teenage girl, scolded by her mother over some domestic issue, left home and since then has gone missing.

The 17-year old girl, resident of Lakadganj area, left home around 8 pm on Sunday angrily as she was scolded by her mother over some household matter. As the girl did not return home for quite some time, relatives searched her frantically but in vain. Finally, the elder sister of the missing girl registered a case with Lakadganj police.

PSI R K Thakur, following the Supreme Court directives that if any minor girl or boy goes missing then the case should be treated as that of kidnapping, has registered an offence under Section 363 of the IPC and searching for her.
