Teacher, teenage girl among four suicides in city

Nagpur News : Among four suicide cases in city in last 24 hours, a school teacher and an 18-year-old girl hanged themselves in separate incidents on Tuesday evening.

Ravi Ghode, alias Indrajeet, teacher at Indira Mahavidyalaya in Khaperkheda, was found hanged to the ceiling hook at his Parekh lay out residence in Dronacharya Nagar. Rana Pratap Nagar police informed that Ghode’s wife along with his son has shifted to her parent residence a month ago. No suicide note was found by police. A neighbour found Ghode hanged when he had gone to meet him.

In another incident at Tehsil, an 18-year-old Kiran Nandeshwar ended her life while alone at home at her Bhankheda residence. A twelfth failed Kiran had ended her studies. Her widow mother and elder brother had gone for their duty when Kiran hanged herself.

A 37-year-old Chandrashekhar Bhoyar hanged himself at his Sai Nagar residence in Gittikhadan. At Lakadganj police station area, 55-year-old Vijayrao Dandekar hanged himself at his Lalganj residence.
