Tata Consultancy Services as part of their CSR initiative recently conducted 100 hours rigorous training program especially for SC and ST students of R.S. Mundle Dharampeth Arts and Commerce College, Nagpur.
The major objectives of the training program conducted by Karan Jairath from TCS, Pune was to make students aware of the demands of the industry and help them to develop employability skills. Mr. Jairath said “Effective Communication plays a very important role in the success of an organization. To be noticed in the world of cut throat competition, a student has to invest in developing life skills”.
Students were taught the basics of effective business communication, sessions on Interpersonal skills, Self projection, Image building and Body language were also taken up. Importance of self-discipline in fulfilling career goals was explained to the students. Students underwent rigorous training on specially designed modules by TCS. Aim of the training program was to increase confidence and emotional intelligence of the students. Students’ response to the program was overwhelming.
In the valedictory function, the students thanked TCS team and the Principal of the college for arranging the training program for their benefit. On the occasion, Dr. Sandhya Nair, Principal, R.S. Mundle Dharampeth Arts and Commerce College distributed certificates to the participating students and wished them success in their future life.
Dr. Akhilesh Peshwe, Vice Principal, Dr. Sarita Modak, Prof. Ajinkya Deshpande, Prof. Chafle and Pravin Shambharkar worked hard for the success of the program.
