Symposium entitled ‘Sangaman-21’ to be held Oct 2-4

Nagpur: A three-day symposium on “creativity and resistance” titled ‘Sangaman-21’ will be held in the city from October 2 to October 4, 2015. The symposium will be participated by authors and artists from across the nation. A film show is organized at Dinanath High School premises while a Poster Exhibition will also be held simultaneously.
Usually Creativity and Resistance are being inferred as rivals of each other. In fact, Creativity and Resistance are the same side of a coin. In order to elaborate on the concept using debate and question-answer session as tools, Hindi and Marathi language experts will gather together for the three-day symposium to be held at Shankarnagar based Maharashtra Rashtrabhasha Sabha’s Baburao Dhanwate Hall. The symposium will be held in five sessions.

Every year, Sangaman organizes such symposiums on various aspects of literature, culture and arts. Those who will prominently participating in the symposium of Marathi Authors include Mahesh Elkunchwar, Shripad Bhalchandra Joshi, Vasanth Abhaji Dahake, Dr Shridhar Pawar, Prafulla Shiledar, Vijay Jawandia, Pravesh Kamdar, Loknath Yeshwant and Harish Deshmukh. Similarly, the Hindi Authors who will be participating in the symposium include Giriraj Kishore, Priyamvad, Prabhat Tripathi, Laltu Jaishankar, Anand Pradhan, Pragnya Rawat, Siyaram Sharma, Nasir Ahemed Sikandar, Amrik Singh Deep, Upasana, Shivendra, Anup Kumar, Hariom Rajoria, Alpana Mishra, Kailash Banwasi, Manoj Ropda, Shashank, Manoj Pandey, Gopal Naidu, Kailash Wankhede, Kamlesh Bhatt, Mithilesh Priyadarshi, Rakesh Mishra, Bhalchandra Joshi, Rakesh Kumar Singh, Rajkumar Rakesh, Jivesh Prabhakar, Anand Harsul, Ishwar Dost, Pankaj Dixit, Shoba Sen, Prakash Chandrayan and Prakash Dubey.

The Creation is the central point of any artistic event and its resistance is a natural characteristics. When an author or artist becomes active in the process of creation, he voices his views against age-old conventions, but he also provides option to what he has voiced. It may be noted that creation and resistance are closely related or linked, but such relations are not permanent or any rule bound.

The first session will be held on October 2, 2015 from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm. The second session on October 2, 2015 will be held from 2:30 pm to 6 pm. On October 3, 2015, the third session will be held from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm and on the same day, the fourth session will be held from 5 pm to 7 pm. On October 4, 2015, the Concluding fifth session has been organized from 9:30 am to 12 noon.
