Sushant Singh Rajput will be working with Dangal director Nitesh Tiwari in his next. The directed confirmed about this college drama on his Twitter page, a few days ago. The film will be produced by Sajid Nadiadwala.
Recently, there were reports that Kriti Sanon is approached to play the leading lady in the film. Sushant and Kriti had earlier worked together in Raabta (2017). However, the news was later denied and the actor is not a part of Tiwari’s next.
Shraddha Kapoor’s name was also being for the film. As reported by DNA, the makers are in talks with the Ek Villain actor. A source stated, “The film’s makers are still working out modalities with Shraddha, who will sign on the dotted line as soon as the terms are locked. That is the reason they haven’t announced the female lead yet. As for Kriti, she is definitely not in the film as of now.”
Well, we will have to wait longer to find out who will Sushant be paired opposite in Nitesh Tiwari’s next.
Meanwhile, this year Sushant Singh Rajput will be seen in 2 films – Drive and Kedarnath.
In Drive, the actor will be romancing Jacqueline Fernandez. The film is slated to release on September 7, 2018.
Sushant has reunited with his Kai Po Che director Abhishek Kapoor for the film Kedarnath, also starring Sara Ali Khan. This will be Sara’s debut film. The story of Kedarnath is based on the 2013 floods of Uttarakhand. The film will hit the screens on November 30, 2018.
On the other hand, Shraddha Kapoor is currently shooting for Batti Gul Meter Chalu in which she is starred alongside her Haider co-star Shahid Kapoor. The actor is also playing a ghost in horror-comedy called Stree in which she will be seen with Rajkummar Rao.
