New Delhi: The Supreme Court has expressed concern over the huge vacancy in police force in six states, including Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal.
The home secretaries of Bihar, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal, or officers authorised by them, have been asked to appear in the court on Friday with their response.
