Asad Ali, class 10th student at SFS school received injury on his back after being badly beaten by the school’s sports teacher Sai Mudliar.

A 16 year old student Asad Ali studying in class 10th at SFS school in Sadar has been beaten so badly by his sports teacher that he received injuries on his back. The boy was reportedly beaten with repeated blows and fists by Sai Mudliar, who is sports teacher at the school. Asad’s father Shakir Ali has lodged the police complaint against the teacher at Sadar police station. The investigation was on till the time of going to the post. However police sources said that the case would be registered against Sai Mudliar, 48 under section 323 of IPC.

Asad is the resident of Shanti Nagar opposite Ratan Tower. On Saturday, the school timings were in the morning. Asad went to appear in his preliminary examinations, and Mudliar was on examination duty. When Mudliar called Asad’s name for attendance, he nodded for his presence but Mudliar could not hear his voice. Few other boys also faced Mudliar’s ire for not responding in loud voice. Fumed over this he called Asad and other boy and beaten them badly. However, the other two boys were spared soon but Asad faced the wrath of Mudliar who reportedly kept on beating Asad while the entire class looked on. Asad received injury and scratch marks on his back. He was later taken to the doctor who did the dressing of the wound.
On reaching home, Asad narrated the incident to his father Shakir Ali who deals in property from his office Taj Property at Gandhibagh. He immediately went to Sadar police station and complained about the incident.
Talking to Nagpur Today Shakir Ali informed that he had first confirmed the news from his fellow mates who told that it was no fault of Asad. “It was only after knowing the truth I approached police,” he said
When Nagpur Today tried to talk to school Principal Manisha Paul, she did not respond to any of the calls. When we reached the school, the school premise was closed by then.
The students often complained about Sai Mudliar for his abrupt handling of the students. Mudliar has been the teacher at SFS school for past few years. He has also acted in one of the Bollywood movies ‘Roop ki rani choron ka Raja’ in which he had this blink-and-miss role.
Entire school administration has maintained silence over the incident and tried to defend Mudliar.
