State Level Seminar Competition held at S. K. Porwal College, Kamptee

Nagpur: The Chemical Society of Department of Chemistry, S. K. Porwal College, Kamptee and Society for Promotion of Material Science (SPMS) Nagpur has jointly organized State level Seminar Competition for the under graduate students on 22nd February 2019.

Dr. S. P. Deshmukh, former Vice-Principal, Shivaji Science College Akola, Dr. W. B. Gurnule, Secretary of SPMS, Nagpur and Dr. R. U. Khope, HOD of Chemistry, Shivaji Science College Nagpur were the distinguished guests and judges for the said competition. Shri Ashokji Bhatiya presided over the function and Shri. Vijaykumarji Sharma, Secretary of Shikshan Prasark Mandal, Kamptee was also present on the said event.

Total 56 participants from different affiliated colleges of State Universities were participated. Mr. Anirban Mukherjee from Sindhu Mahavidyalaya, Nagpur bagged the FRIST prize, Ms. Urvi Gupta from J. B. Science College, Wardha got the SECOND prize, and Ms. Himani from Dr. Ambedkar College Nagpur secured the THIRD position in the Seminar Competition.

Principal, Dr. M. B. Bagade boosted morale of the students and said ‘event like this act as a platform for the students to express their views and talent’. Dr. R. G. Chaudhary, Convener of the Seminar Competition declared the prizes. Dr. S. Mondal, teacher in-charge of the Chemical Society conducted the function. Ms. Ankita Meshram president of chemical society expressed the vote of thanks.
