Nagpur: A cyclist was knocked dead by a speeding vehicle at MIDC area on Thursday evening. The name of the deceased is Suresh Thakare.
According to the police source, Suresh Motiram Thakare, 61 was coming home on his cycle in the evening around 5.40 pm when a speeding recklessly driven vehicle MH 31 DK 7081 hit Suresh Thakare near Jaguar showroom on Central MIDC road, and fled away. Suresh died on spot. ‘
Sushil son of the deceased immediately lodged a complaint with the MIDC police. Police have registered a case of accident and are seraching for the vehicle.
