Nagpur: Reckless driving claimed life of a 45 year old man in the city on Sunday afternoon. The road accident was reported from Jaripatka Police Station.
According to report, Ramdayal Ambule (45), resident of Plot. No.209, Bharat Town, Yerkheda, Kamptee died after being hit by a speeding truck near Nitesh Automobile, Automotive Square. The incident occurred while Ambule was heading home on his bicycle (Bajaj Platina, MH/40/AY/1480) at 12.40 pm.
“A case has been registered under section 279, 304 (A) along with section 134, 177 of IPC. Truck driver managed to flee from the site leaving vehicle. We have seized the truck (MH/40/AN/9900) and also launched an investigation,” informed Police Constable Dilip Wankhede, Jaripatka Police Station.
