Nagpur: MIDC Police have registered a case against an unidentified truck driver for causing a fatal accident that claimed the life of a 57-year-old motorcyclist on Hingna Road on November 28.
Around 1.30 pm, Sanjay Vitthalrao Bobde, a resident of Mahajan Wadi near Parvati Park, was riding home on his motorcycle (MH-40-CA-9414) when a speeding truck (MH-40-CT-6577) allegedly rammed into his vehicle from behind near the bridge opposite Nayara Petrol Pump. According to police, the truck driver was driving recklessly and fled the spot after the collision.

Bobde was rushed to AIIMS Hospital, where doctors declared him dead during treatment.
Following a complaint lodged by his wife, Kumud Sanjay Bobde (53), MIDC Police registered a case under Sections 281 and 106(1) of the BNS, along with Sections 177 and 184 of the Motor Vehicles Act.
