2 lakh cash, vital documents stolen from house in Wathoda

Nagpur: Wathoda Police have registered a theft case after unidentified burglars broke into a residence in Shravan Nagar and decamped with cash and important documents.

The incident occurred between 8 am on November 27 and 7 am on November 28, when complainant Ramkailas Kesari Prasad Tiwari (32), a cook by profession, had left for work. Police said the accused entered the house through an unlocked door and stole a metal trunk containing Rs 2 lakh cash, plot documents, an Aadhaar card, and a driving licence.

Acting on Tiwari’s complaint, Wathoda Police registered a case under Section 303(2) of the BNS against an unidentified accused. PSI Amol Patil is leading the investigation.
