Nagpur: South East Central Railway (SECR) will run a special train between Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Itwari Station-Shalimar-NITR from January 27 onwards. The special train is meant to clear the rush of passengers plus ensure they get confirmed berths.
Train No. 08771 NITR-Shalimar Special will run on every Monday and the dates are January 26, February 2 and 9 (3 trips). The Train will start ex-Itwari at 17.10 hrs and reach Shalimar at 14.00 hrs. the next day The stoppages for the trains include Gondia, Dongargarh, Rajnandgaon, Durg, Raipur, Bhatapara, and reach Bilaspur the next day at 00.35 hrs and later on other stations ahead are Champa, Raigarh, Jharsuguda, Rourkela, Chakradharpur, Tatanagar, Kharagpur, Santragacchi.

Train No 08872 Shalimar-NITR will run every Tuesday from January 27 onwards. The train will have three trips and start from Shalimar station at 18.00 hrs. The train will terminate in Itwari at 15.35hrs the next day. The train will have 2 SLRD bogies, 4 general, 11 sleeper, 2 AC-II tier, and one AC-I coach.
