Nagpur: Acting on the tip-off, the Special Squad of Vinita S, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Zone 2 raided hookah parlour running at Cafe Villa 55 in Ambazari area here on late Saturday night.
Besides, hotel owner and manager Rohit Vinod Turkel, cops booked five others in this connection. The Special Squad of DCP Vinita S also recovered hookah pots, liquor and some other materials collectively to the tune of ₹18,030.
According to police sources, DCP Vinita S received secret information regarding a hookah parlour running at Ambazari based Cafe Villa 55. Acting swiftly on the inputs, Special Squad of DCP Vinita S comprising PSI Kunal Dhurat, Police Constables Aabha Munde, Pramod Aarkhel, Mahesh Bawane, NPC Jayanta Nandekar, Police Shipoi Anish Sheikh, Atiq Sheikh, Sumar Singh conducted the action.
