Somalwar School’s ‘Chala Dharatila Vachavu Ya’ bags first prize

Nagpur: Eco-Folks Mumbai, Maharashtra pollution Control Board and Balranjan Kala Mandir had organised a 11th Inter-school drama competition on 20th January 2018, at Scientific Hall, Laxmi Nagar, Nagpur. Students of Somalwar High School, Ramdaspeth presented a Drama titled ‘Chala Dharatila Vachavu Ya’ and bagged the First Prize. They were presented with a memento and cash prize of Rs. 15,000/-.

The Drama was scripted by Balwant Lamkane and was directed by Atharva Athawale. The Drama successfully created awareness regarding waste management specially during festivals. The Students enthralled the audience with their wonderful performance. Head Mistress Vaishali P Dakhole congratulated the artists who were guided by School teacher Neeta Khot and Suchita Khangai.
