SML Isuzu is one of the leading Commercial vehicle manufacturers of India launched their new XM series Trucks&Buses at the EROS motors dealership at Hingna, Wadi on Thursday February 13.
Executive Director, Marketing (ISUZU), K. B. Prasad, Senior Vice President, Marketing, Toshihero Otsubo, General Manager Marketing, Anuj Sethi, Sandeep Nema, Sr Manager Marketing and Manager Service Ajay Pande were prominently present during the launch of the vehicles.
Addressing the gathering GM(Marketing) Anuj Sethi informed that company has launched its new XM Series range of trucks and buses starting from 8.5 ton payload 19 feet cargo carrier.XM Means extra mileage and with help of ISUZU’s R&D the engine torque is improved along with improvement in the mileage, which is the need of the hour better pick up and cost effect, added Sethi.
The Company started its commercial production in 1985. Sumitomo Corporation, Japan has been part of Company’s promoters since beginning. Isuzu Motors, Japan are currently having technical collaboration. After technical collaboration with Isuzu Motors, the company name is changed to SML Isuzu Limited, informed Executive Director (Marketing), K.B Prasad.
He further added that “Our current production range includes 6 to 13 Tons GVW vehicles in Cargo Segment and 18 Seater to 51 Seater in Passenger segment with both School and Staff bus variants and Luxury buses with Isuzu Engine in Rear with 45 Deluxe Seats, and with Isuzu-Engine in front, Luxury bus with 41 Deluxe Seats ”.
The Market Share for School Buses in Vidarbha Area is more than to 40% in our range of products. We have a very good market share in the cargo segment also, said Manager service, Ajay Pande.
The keys of the new range of vehicles were given to the new owners of the vehicles by the Company officials.
