When the victim reached Baidhyanath Square, the accused woman Usha took the victim Sharadchandra to a building hit opposite to Kamgar Bhavan. She then took the victim to a room. There a 25–30 years-old second woman accused was present in that room. That woman claimed that she is in dire circumstances and needs urgent financial help.

That second woman accused allegedly started coercing the victim to indulge in sexual activity. However, suddenly four more accused who claimed to be from the police DB squad broke into the room. The said that this is a raid and that they have apprehended the woman accused and the victim in compromising position. They almost frightened the victim of such an extent of the penal action that the victim was ready to do anything to escape the clutches of the law.

Using the gullibility of the victim, the accused demanded a sum of Rs 5 lakhs. However, the victim gave the accused a sum of Rs 1, 04, 300/- (Rs. One lakhs four thousand three hundred) which the victim could manage to procure in a short notice. However, the accused started calling him regularly between the period from December 20, 2014 to January 15, 2015 and harassed him demanding the remaining Rs 4 lakhs.

This really irked the victim and suddenly realized that the four men who barged into the room were not cops. So he decided to come clean of everything that happened and went to Imambada Police Station and lodged a complaint against the accused.

Based on the complaint of the accused, Assistant Police Inspector Bele registered a case under sections 384, 170 and 34 of Indian Penal Code. Further investigations are being held under the guidance of In-charge of Imambada Police Station, Police Inspector Anand Nerlekar.
