
Nagpur: Shrinivas Public School celebrated its Annual Function with great enthusiasm and grandeur recently within the school premises. The Annual Day stood as a reflection of the school’s vibrant and dynamic spirit, celebrating achievements, creativity, and a strong sense of unity within the school community. The theme for the evening, “AAROHAN,” symbolised the rise of conscience, highlighting that true growth lies not merely in adhering to external rules but in attaining inner awareness and self-realisation.
The programme was graced by the esteemed presence of the Chief Guest, Dr. Sudhir Bhave; Guest of Honour, Varsha Manohar (Director, SPS); and Dr. Avinash Deshmukh, Vice President, WES; along with presence of Dr. Nanda Rathi, Secretary, WES; Dr. Harsha Jharia, CAO, WES; and the Principal, teachers, parents, and students.
The evening began with the auspicious lighting of the lamp. In his address, Dr. Sudhir Bhave shed light on pressing concerns such as heightened anxiety, toxic interactions, poor time management, and stress among today’s youth. This was followed by the distribution of academic and sports awards, acknowledging students’ excellence in academics, sports, and co-curricular activities. A STEM Exhibition, organised concurrently, drew appreciation from guests and parents alike.
The cultural programme unfolded as a vibrant spectacle, showcasing a rich blend of colourful costumes, melodious music, and energetic dance performances. Each presentation beautifully portrayed the diverse challenges and experiences of life, leaving the audience enthralled.
