Nagpur: In an appalling and senseless incident, a 15-year old girl was raped by several customers in various hotels over a period of three years. The most shocking part of the heinous crime is that the girl’s own relative pushed her into the terrible ordeal. The relative would leave the minor girl at hotels to be raped by the customers. The woman and some other unidentified persons have been booked on the charges of abetting the rape of the girl.
The accused woman has been identified as Manda Suresh Bongilwar (52), the girl’s Mothi Aayee or Elder Mother in relation. The accused Manda and her unidentified accomplices left the girl with customers at various hotels in Kamptee, Sitabuldi and other areas. The left alone and helpless minor girl was later raped by the customers in the hotels. The accused Manda and others abetted the rape of the girl shamelessly for monetary benefits of her own since the past three years. However, the monstrous actions of accused Manda and others got exposed when the minor girl approached Sadar Police Station and opened her mouth in the form of a complaint.
Sadar PSI Jamdade, acting the complaint, has booked the accused Manda Suresh Bongilwar and her accomplices under Sections 376(1), 34 of IPC read with Sub-Sections 3(A), 4 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act 2012 and investigating the crime from all angles.
