Share trading loss triggers violent attack on family’s house in Shivaji Nagar, 8 goons arrested

Nagpur: Enraged by the loss in share trading, a man hired a gang of criminals and provoked fiery attack on the house of a family in posh Shivaji Nagar area on Sunday noon. The gang of criminals stormed into the house of the family, manhandled a security guard and driver, detained family members and threatened to kill them the loss money is returned. Cops have arrested 8 persons and detained a juvenile boy in this connection.

According to police, the trouble started when a dispute arose between Ghanshyam Ramkishore Sarda (56), his wife Veena (52), both residents of Plot No. 32, ‘Sarda House’, Cement Road, Shivaji Nagar, and the share holder accused Kushal Kishore Laddhad (36) over share trading loss. The dispute took a dirty shape when angry Kushal Laddhad hired a gang of eight goons namely Sonu Jagam Shrinivas (29), Durgesh Suresh Mahule (23), Sachin Ramesh Chitmitwar (30), Vivek Lekhram Vanote (19), Jitendra Anand Mehurkule (22), Praful Gulabrao Thakre (19), Kanhaya Suresh Mahule (27), Mohan Soma Neware (27), all residents of Kumbhartoli, and a 17-year old juvenile boy.

The gang of goons, on the provocation of Kushal Laddhad, burst into the residence of Sardas, heckled the security guard and driver, detained entire family members of Sarda and threatened to kill them if the share loss money was not returned.

Based on a complaint filed by Ghanshyam Ramkishore Sarda, Ambazari PSI S P Tripathi has booked accused under Sections 143, 149, 448, 342, 504, 506(B) of IPC and arrested eight of them. The juvenile boy has been detained.
