ITS A HUMBLE REQUEST SO THAT CONCERNED AUTHORITY MAY COME TO KNOW SUCH BUSINESS PRACTICE AMONG MEDICAL SHOPS. So Necessary action should be taken.
Nagpur Today ventured out to find the truth behind this incident.
What we learnt is that CA Dhiraj Moriani had gone to buy three medications from the chemists shop. However, the first shop Prachi Medical and General Stores. He could get only the first two medicines prescribed by the Doctor of Prestos Modak’s Multispecialty Hospital and Critical Care Centre. However, Since Prachi Medical and General Stores did not have the third medication he went to Shano Medicos which is the third shop from Prachi Medical Stores.
When he enquired with the man who was manning the counter of Shano Medicos if they have the third medicine, he said that he did not have a stock of the particular medicine at that time and that he will get it the next day. The medication that he wanted was a suppository.
Suppositories are a small plug of medication designed to melt at body temperature within a body cavity other than the mouth, especially the rectum or vagina.
However, CA Dhiraj Moriani went on to plead with the man on the counter that if you have give the medicine. When the man manning the counter repeatedly refused saying they do not have the medication, CA Dhiraj Moriani allegedly threatened him and went off.
Nagpur Today learnt that these shops are situated near Chambar Nala, Ashok Chowk, Ashok Nagar, a lane going on the left side in between Kamal Square and Panchpaoli Square Nagpur 440 017. These two Chemists shops remain open throughout the night and many poor patients get medicines.
The owner (without wishing to identify himself) told Nagpur Today that this CA Dhiraj Moriani has some issue with almost all chemists. He claimed that CA Dhiraj Moriani had once owned Ajanta Medicines Store, which he had sold off and a complex built in its place. The owner of Shano Medicos did agree that the owner of Prachi Medical and General Stores and he do not see eye-to-eye on all issues but no such business rivalry exists.
Nagpur Today tried to reach CA Dhiraj Moriani on his mobile No 9373—–030. However, his phone was switched off.
