‘Server glitch’ causes trouble for several NET aspirants

Nagpur: The website ‘server glitch’ faced on the last two days to apply for CBSE NET examination has landed several students in trouble as they could not apply for the examination before the given date.

The last date to apply for CBSE NET examination was 11th of September. However, in the last two days, the server of website was reported to be experiencing a server glitch which created trouble for the aspirants. Several of them were even unable to apply.

As per the information received, there are four steps to apply for the examination. Three of the steps were getting successfully completed while applying. The fourth, however, remained incomplete. The students have complained that in the third step, they had to pay the exam fee after which the fourth i.e. successfully generated application form was generated. As informed, the students have complained that during this step, money was deducted from their accounts but the application form was not generated. The students remain doubtful of is the process was successful or not. There are many students who will not be eligible for JRF from last year due to exceeding of age limit.
