Nagpur News: “Time has come for women to become self-dependent through self-employment and by running industrial businesses. Similarly, the self-dependent women should include the other needy women and together, they should climb the peak of success and inspire the other women to turn to self-reliant ventures,” exhorted Vishal Muttemwar, President of Swayam Social Organisation while inaugurating Douglous Hostel in Chandramani Nagar. Dr Sarika Kulkarni of Raah Foundation, Mumbai was prominently present on the occasion.

The Swayam Social Organisation had organized a Business Training Camp on Sepember 2 and 3 in order to facilitate self-employed  opportunities for more and more women. Dr Sarika Kulkarni, during “Swayam Rojgar Mahila Vyavasay Prashikshan Shibir”, said, “For self-dependence,  women must undergo the required training in order to run a business. The training greatly helps in carrying out the businesses they intend to start and emerge successful. The camp like this turns a stepping stone for self-employed women to become self-dependent,” Dr Sarika Kulkarni asserted.

Others who were present on the occasion include Abha Pande, President of Nagpur City Women Congress Committee, and Elizabeth Martin.
